In the Heart of the Wild
In July 2024, I realized one of my greatest dreams – I set out on an expedition to the Amazon Rainforest, one of the most wild and untouched places on the planet.
The biodiversity of the rainforest is breathtaking. With every step, I encountered unique and fascinating species of plants and animals, whose incredible variety is almost impossible to describe.
From hummingbirds as small as a finger to harpy eagles – majestic predators hunting monkeys. From vibrant blue butterflies the size of a hand to scorpions glowing under ultraviolet light. All the sounds, the scents – it was an experience beyond words.
I’ve selected 12 of my favorite photographs from this journey for the calendar, allowing you to immerse yourself in the magical world of the Amazon jungle.
